Alki Beach

After our crazy morning (previous post) and coming home to take naps, we decided to head over to Alki Beach.  I am sad that it has taken us all summer to make our way to Alki because it was so much fun and I think had I known how close and accessible it was, I would have gone a lot with the kids.  There were so many people playing volleyball, kayaking and just hanging out. A new family favorite of Seattle.

  Lately, we have all been counting down how many days until we are heading back to Utah but I know that once we're gone, I'm really going to miss all of the beautiful places out here.  Washington is easily one of the prettier places I have ever been and even though I keep saying I can't imagine me living out here long term, I don't think it would be the worst thing in the world.

 Our little runaway.  At the park and the beach, he saw a dog and went running after them and their owners.  It was hilarious and slightly embarrassing.

View from our drive out.  Such a peaceful place.  Our friends are watching the kids next week so Matt and I can have a date and I am thinking we'll come back here to play some volleyball and walk around the beach after grabbing a bite to eat.
