Abby's Party

For Abby's party we went to the San Ramon Olympic Pool. It was our first time going there and we all had a blast. It was super hot and packed, but things worked out and we were able to find a small opening under some shade. Somehow I only managed to get one real picture of the birthday girl though. Mom fail. Glad she chose to hang out as a family and I love that she had a wonderful day. She deserves it!

Abby is Four!

Oh how we love our yo-yo. Abby has always loved attention and knows how to get it. She makes others around her feel so warm and loved too. She makes friends everywhere we go (and of all ages from 1-99). I cannot believe that our sweet little girl that entered this world in the most peaceful and easiest of ways is turning four. One of her main gifts was a backpack because she is getting ready to start preschool in a couple months. She is beyond ready and thrilled. Me, not so much. I'm going to miss my little sidekick. Happy birthday, Abigail Dana! You're loved more than you know by so many.

Ava

Ava is so tiny, so cute, so busy, so happy, so full of love, and so fun. I love this tiny little peanut and I love her new tiny little shorts. She is so full of excitement and happiness. She lights up when she sees someone or something she likes. She is a little goofball too and always has us laughing. She loves being involved so if we all start laughing she will too. It's hilarious.

These Two!

I love theses two an unhealthy amount and cannot wait to celebrate them both this weekend. Matt turns 33 tomorrow and a few hours after Abby turns 4. They don't share a birthday, but they share a very special bond. I am so grateful Matt is the kind of guy that his kids run to, confide in, and love being around. He is a good man to the core and he has always kept his family his top priority. Abby has always been one of the easiest going, most fun, quirkiest, and cutest little people around. She brings so much happiness and life to our family. I cannot imagine my life without either of these two.

Bring Your Kids to Work Day

Chevron had a day designated for their employees to bring their kids with them to work. We decided it was probably best for Matt not to take three or four kids with him, so we sent the big girls. They had so much fun! They got to build boats, eat lunch and ice-cream with daddy, learned about some different things the company does, and a few other things. The girls had a great time and Matt loved the change of scenery having his girls with him too.

Time to Spoil Daddy!

I love Father's Day. Probably because I grew up with the best dad and now I'm married to the greatest guy period. Abby and I had so much fun making daddy some of his favorite things for his special day. All of the kids had fun choosing out some gifts and then decorating the wrapping paper. Happy Father's Day, Matt! We couldn't love you anymore. You're our very favorite!

Spending time as a family climbing around is one of our very favorite past times.

Cull Canyon

We have a man made reservoir near our house that is a lot of fun. Some friends organized a little day trip with their kiddos. The only thing that would have made it better would be if daddy could play hookie from work and join us. The kids haven't been to Cull Canyon since the last time we lived here, and they loved it! I love watching how good all the munchkins are getting at swimming.
