“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Going Places

Abby isn't officially crawling but that doesn't stop her from getting around. She is quite fast at the army scoot and can get pretty much anywhere she wants. She isn't sitting up completely either but that is because she spends most of her time in the downward dog position rather than building her core muscles to work on sitting up. This girl cracks me up. I love her so much. I have slowed down on nursing her quite a bit over the last week. With everything going on and honestly me being kind of lazy, we have been skipping more feedings and replacing them with a bottle.  I decided that I was going to ween her so I knew for sure how much she was getting and also because I was feeding her so much less anyway.  I have never been super emotional about weening. It's not that I don't like nursing and I've never really had problems nursing but I am right in the middle of the spectrum where I don't hate it but I also don't nurse until they are two because I am so sad to stop.  Well, I woke up the other morning with next to nothing to offer Abby and I got so sad. It was intentional. It was planned. It was what I was trying to accomplish but when I succeeded, I really did get sad. Abby is such a mama's girl and I am quite the Abby's girl and that doesn't have to change but I'll miss the sweet moments feeding her as she snuggles up to me in the middle of the night or when she wants nothing else but me.  My baby is growing up too fast and I just don't know what to do about it.

Service Committee

Here are a bunch of the ladies that make up the service committee that I am over this year with MBASA. Love these girls!!

Sledding

Matt and I took the three oldest kids sledding to Rock Canyon Park. It was hilarious and so much fun. Unfortunately, because it was earlier in the day the snow was a bit frozen which made the crashing more painful.  The kids were troopers though and kept going. Sienna crashed the worst and got some snow/ice burn on her face but she was a big girl and kept sledding. The blow up sleds were perfect for the kids and helped protect them and prevent them from falling off. All three of the kids went flying down the hill but Tanner holds the record for the longest run. I would cringe the entire time he was zooming down the snow and then start laughing so hard once I saw him get to the bottom unharmed.

Wait For Me

The kids were taking a bath and Abby heard them making noises and made her way into the bathroom to see what was going on.
