Happy Easter!

This past weekend was pretty perfect. We didn't go anywhere. We didn't eat out. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary. We played games as a family, colored eggs, went to the park, organized the house, and had a special Sunday focusing on the Savior. Money and stuff don't make people happy. I believe it actually often distracts us from what matters the most. What brings the most happiness and truest joy is being with people, and because of the Savior, I get to be with my favorite people forever. "Death is conquered: man is free. Christ hath won the victory!" #hallelujah #justbelieve #Christlives #livesimply #familiesareforever #sharegoodness

Standing By Herself

Ava has taken a couple of steps here and there. She doesn't take steps often, but she loves standing and balancing over and over again. I love this girl so much. I am not ready for her to be one.

Ava's favorite foods are fruit, berries, refried black bean quesodillas, and chocolate. She eats most everything though and yells at you if she runs out.

Sadie's Play

Sadie's class has been practicing for weeks for their Cinderella 2.0 performance. You can tell they've been working really hard. The play was so cute and hilarious and Sadie did AMAZING. I am so proud of her for being brave and having so much fun with this. The first night she was in the choir and the second night she was in the play. Her part was the Hatter. She also made sure that she was the best dancer. I love watching my kids come out of their shells and do new things like this. Drama is a favorite of Sadie's and I'll have to find more ways for her to preform.

Sienna's Birthday

Sienna chose to celebrate as a family this year and that we did. Her birthday was on a Monday, but we started the party on Friday. Friday night we went to BJ's and stuffed our faces. Sienna got her own pizookie and the rest of us shared another. The next morning we went to a trampoline park and the timing worked out that we got almost two hours for the price of one. The highlight of the park was definitely the rock wall. I think the picture of the four kiddos climbing is one of my all time favorites. Sunday we had a nice day at church and a yummy dinner. Then on Monday we celebrated some more. She took sugar cookies to school and came home and had tacos per her request.

My emotions are all over the place as our special girl that made us parents celebrates her birthday today. She is brave, beautiful, and smart. But, my favorite qualities of hers are that she is kind, patient, and so full of love. Happy birthday to our Sienna Anne. Nine years old and she is already so much the wonderful young lady I still hope to become someday. 💜🎉🎈
