“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Spoiled Mama

Sienna and Sadie have been so cute lately trying to make me feel well. The other day they played with my hair, rubbed my feet and legs with lotion, and painted my nails. They did a great job and helped me feel relaxed and comfortable.

About to Pop

Ava had me believing that she was going to be a ten pound baby. I was so big at the end of my pregnancy. This picture is right up towards the end around 38 weeks.

Jus Burgers - Girls' Lunch

Sienna and Sadie had a school break. Tanner attends the public school so his breaks don't line up with the girls. The girls and I met some friends at the park this morning and they all brought lunch. I told the girls we could grab lunch after the park since I didn't bring anything for us. They all instantly agreed on Jus Burgers--YUM! We all love cheeseburgers, and they have the BEST sweet potato fries ever. We ate our burgers and then headed into my doctor appointment to check on Miss Ava. It was a fun little date.

Sadie & Harry

Sadie has a good friend, Harry. He is in both her church and school class. They have become great little buddies and it is fun to watch them play together. We will be very sad when they move back to Houston this summer.

Sweeties

There are few things better than the kids being sweet to each other. During church, Sienna wrote Baby Ava a letter and Sadie wrote Matt. Sadie may or may not have been trying to get back on daddy's good side... and I think it worked.

Tanner and Abby giving each other rides around the house in their truck. Got to love Abby's outfit and hairdo. Little Miss Independent.

Beach Days Running Out

We are running out of our beach days. It has actually stayed beautiful outside, but the tides are stronger and it is windy and not as safe or fun at the beach. I'm going to miss these days and hope we get another Australian Summer to enjoy the beach some more before we move.

Oh, Abigail!

Abby is such a nut and when her hair isn't done, she is such a mess. I love that this two year old has such a strong personality and sense of humor. She makes funny looks and says things in goofy ways intentionally to get reactions. She is hilarious!

ISWA Harmony Day

The girls' school celebrated Harmony Day. Their student body (which is quite small) represents 54 different countries. All of the students got to walk across the stage with their country flag. Then there were dances and performances. When the assembly was over, everyone met for a lunch afterwards where the families brought food from their home countries. It was a really neat day and such a neat opportunity for my girls and us to experience.

Back to the Drive-In

We were so excited to get back to the drive-in. This time we ordered pizza and went to see Cinderella. Our kids don't watch many shows or movies that aren't animated, but they did pretty well with it. It is a good story with great morals and opened the door for some great conversations about "being kind and having courage." Goodness, I love this family of mine! Can't wait to get our Sweet Ava here with us.

Update

I am getting huge and I am done with homework. Luckily, I have these two little people to keep me company and keep me laughing.

Shopping Buddies

I miss my girls, but I am loving my time with Tanner and Abby. They are such good buddies and make me laugh constantly.

Don't Play With Your Gum...

Sometimes you learn lessons in less fortunate ways like getting gum stuck in your eyebrow when you don't listen.

Big 8 Year Old

We couldn't be more excited to celebrate our Sienna. She is the sweetest and most helpful little girl around. The only problem is that she isn't all that little anymore. She is growing up way too fast. Her birthday this year was simple, but great. We took a couple of Sienna's friends with our family to see the movie, "Home" and then came back to our house for cake and ice-cream. Sienna got birthday money from Nana and Papa and chose out a sweet Lego set. The best part was that she got to set it up in our spare room and build it all herself without anyone interrupting her. We love our birthday girl so much and had such a great time celebrating with her.
