2 Months Old

Sienna is 2 months old tomorrow. She is such a happy and fun baby. She loves to play silly little games with us. We like to sit her in her bouncer and put a blanket over her legs- she just grins and kicks like crazy until it falls off. As soon as we put it back on her, she starts smiling and kicking some more.
.
Doesn't she just make you want to smile?

She is so full of smiles and love.

She is getting pretty strong too.

Sienna is starting to get chunky! We'll see how she compares to her cousins next week.

Our beautiful baby.

Smiles for Mother's Day!

Here are some fun videos we recorded today. Sienna is becoming such a happy girl and it is so fun for us to make her smile. We thought this would be a great Mother's day gift for her wonderful Grandmas!

Happy Mother's Day!

This weekend has been a lot of fun. Yesterday, we met some friends for a couple hours of tennis. We had such a good time and it was nice for Matt because he had some real competition on the court. Later in the day, we all went to Fort Worth for some great Mexican food at Joe T Garcias.
Today we are just taking it easy. Church was nice and now it is nap time. We will most likely watch the Jazz game tonight and eat lots of ice-cream.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone. This is my first official Mother's Day and it has been wonderful.
.
Sienna was very excited to get ready for church. She made it through all 3 hours again without any problems. She was more awake today but very happy.

Being a mom is the best job ever.

Just chilling on the couch.

Matt was hiding on the side of the couch to make it look like Sienna was sitting up all by herself. Pretty soon she will be... she is growing up so fast.

More Smiles

I know I have put a lot of pictures on lately, but we got some really good smiles. Matt was holding her on the couch while I was looking up flights to come to Utah and she was smiling like crazy. I didn't have the best angle but they are still fun. I think she was smiling so much because she knows that we are going to Utah soon.
..
Start off with a little grin.

Cute little tease with her tongue sticking out.

I was a little late on this smile but she is still cute.

Here is the winner!!!

Happy Baby

I guess a benefit of your baby not sleeping at all during the night is that she sleeps through all of church.

Still sleeping when we got home.

A small grin in her sleep.

Sienna and mommy

Just missed a big smile. It seemed that she would give us her biggest smiles while we were waiting for the camera.

So happy!

Getting ready for more smiles.

We even got a big smile from dad...and his eyes are open.

All these pictures made everyone sleepy.

What a daddy's girl!

New Toy

We bought Sienna a new toy. She is still getting used to it.
.
Wondering what is going on

Quick learner

This is a picture of Sienna staring at Matt as he was getting her ready to take a bath. She is growing up so much and we love every second. She is sleeping better at nights and we often get about four hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Sienna is getting more and more responsive every day. She maintains eye contact a lot longer and smiles when daddy makes funny faces at her.

C is for Car Accidents, Couches, and Cookies

This morning I got a call from Matt shortly after he left for work telling me that he got in a little car accident. Luckily, he is just fine and there is minimal damage to his car. (It just broke his headlight that Jake fixed right before we came to Texas.) It was the other driver's fault and her insurance is taking care of everything, plus Matt gets a rental car for the day tomorrow. He doesn't really need it but figures what the heck.

Just taking a quick nap.
.
Our little couch potato.

She's getting chubby!

Watching the game with daddy.

Don't those look delcious? I made so many cookies yesterday. Matt and I took them around to the families that he home teaches. It was a lot of fun.
