I've really been trying be more present in my kids' lives. Sometimes it is hard for me to know how to connect with my kids individually and on their level. Today I decided to decorate their bedroom doors so they knew I was thinking about them while they were at school. It's not much, but it's a start. I have a lot more time with my kids than a lot of people but I don't always make the most of that time and I want to change that.
