“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Precious Baby

I know I already posted some pictures today but I forgot this one. I love this picture because she is so cute and we love this blanket. Sienna is so funny when she sleeps on her tummy. She moves around so much and always sticks her bum in the air.

Grandpa!

Taking a nap.

Sienna was so happy to meet grandpa. We were very lucky to have Matt's dad with us for the weekend. Look at the proud new grandpa with his baby- SO CUTE!

Matt blessed Sienna today in church. It went really well and Sienna was such a good girl.

Sienna in her cute dress that we borrowed from cousin Kate.

It was really special to have grandpa here to participate in blessing Sienna.

How he is going to leave her and go back to Utah, we do not know.

Sienna was awake most of the morning and finally decided to go down for a nap.

Roll Over, Roll Over

You've got to love the double chin.

Ella took this picture before we dropped them off at the airport. She is very good with the camera.

She looked so adorable in this outfit today. Too bad we didn't get a smile from her for the picture, she doesn't like the carseat very much.

Sienna loves when we get to visit daddy at work for lunch. There is a really nice park just behind Matt's work that we go to a lot.

Sienna with her teddy bear.

Tummy time didn't last long...

...because she rolled over! She doesn't like to sit still, I think she gets that from her dad.

She loves the tub.

Cute baby!

Drying off.

Babies, Babies, and more Babies

Sienna loves watching daddy play ball.
Matt bought me a new softball bat for my birthday. I can't wait to try it out!
.
Peek-a-boo

We did it! We got all three kids in the car. It has been so much fun having Brittney and the girls here.

Kate and Sienna

Ella is the best older sister and cousin. She takes such good care of the babies and loves making them smile.

Ella loved all of the goodies that Grandma Anne sent her. She especially loved this puzzle and Lightening McQueen pillow case. Ka-Chow!

Playing Sesame Street on the computer in our PJ's.

Ella and Matt found a frog in our backyard.

We took a trip back to the ghetto for some delicious Mexican food- Brittney's real reason for visiting.

This has been such a great weekend with the girls. We went shopping, to the park, out to eat, watched "Emperor's New Groove" at least 5 times, and much more.

Today, the weather decided to make a turn for the worse. It has been beautiful-sunny weather since they got here on Friday. However, shortly after dropping them off at the airport today I received a call informing me that their flight was canceled due to tornados and storms. So, we get another day with the Gillespie gang. This would have been awesome if Brittney had a way to get any of her luggage off of the plane, including Kate's carseat. Thank goodness for good friends. We borrowed a carseat and got home away from the storms. Now it is just a night of rest and watching "The Office." Too bad that they really have to go home tomorrow.

Play Time

Sienna spending time with her good buddy, Jessie. Jessie is 9 months old and is very good with Sienna.
Sienna is so anxious to see her cousins. We will be leaving early in the morning to go pick up Brittney, Ella, and Kate. It is going to be a full house and we can't wait!

Bath Time!

Showing off her cute spring outfit.
.
Sienna's poor eye is always so irritated. Luckily, it seems to be getting better lately.

Sienna in her cute little PJs.

I know we show a lot of head shots of her sleeping, but she is so adorable! Can you blame us?

Today was Sienna's first real bath. She was a little shocked at first and didn't know what to think but she ended up liking it.

Getting dried off after a nice warm bath.

Today was a gorgeous day so we all took a walk at the park. It was perfect weather and after walking around for a little while, Matt and I played catch. We both miss playing softball with the family and love hearing about their games.

"It's a little bright- please cover me back up!"

We were really excited to see some nice weather this weekend. We had a tornado just a few miles southeast of us on Friday. It was pretty neat to hear the alarms and watch the storm because we knew we were safe and the storm was moving away from us.

At our house we got some hail that was the size of golf balls. Our friends were closer to the actual tornado and they received hail that was about an inch and a half in diameter, and in Colleyville-where Matt works- there were reports of softball sized hail. CRAZY!!! Don't worry, we are safe!

3 Weeks Old

Time sure flies. Our little Sienna is 3 weeks old as of yesterday. We can't believe how fast she is growing. She is weighing just over 9 pounds.
Sienna taking a nap in the car seat on the way to see daddy at work.

She was out like a rock today. We tried to wake her up to show her off at work but she wouldn't budge.
