Tanner and Abigail are becoming better friends every day. They love playing with each other and usually do quite well. One of my favorite things recently is hearing Tanner ask for Abby. "Abby, come into our room, it's TOYS TIME!!"
Tanner is such a good brother and most of them time is trying very hard to take good care of Abby. In fact, Abby is the stinker in the relationship. Matt got a glimpse of this the other day when we went to Costco as a family and these two were sitting in the cart together. Abby kept smacking Tanner in the face and clawing at him. She is so feisty and has learned to fight back, even when nobody is trying to fight.
It is hilarious to watch the overflowing sass of our little one year old and luckily her siblings are very patient. In fact, they think it is hilarious and egg her on. Last night Abby wasn't feeling well and Sienna got close to her face for some reason and Abby instantly shewed her with her hand and said, "Go away" so clearly. She surprises us every so often with real words but we have never heard that one before. The kids thought it was so funny so they all took turns getting in her face so she could push them away and try to hit them. We shouldn't laugh or encourage hitting but we also couldn't stop laughing.
Unfortunately, Tanner and Abby have both been pretty sick lately. They have colds that make it hard for them to breathe and sleep at nights. Because they aren't feeling well they stayed home from church with daddy. When I got home he showed me these darling pictures of them in a fort together.
"Here Abby, you can have these blocks." -Tanner
