March Madness (in a good way)

March Highlights:

-Sienna made a cheesecake and although we were nervous about how it would turn out (because I have never made one), it was incredible! All of us skeptics were seriously impressed. Auntie Jenny's favorite dessert is cheesecake and she ranked this one over The Cheesecake Factory. It honestly was SO GOOD. Add that to Sienna's brownies that are honestly the best I've ever had and she is becoming quite the baker.

- Lots of park days

-We picked dad up one day and ended up waiting for an hour. Luckily the kids found a way to entertain themselves on a short sidewalk. We didn't know it would be so long or we would have left, but they had so much fun playing the silliest games.

-Tanner teaching Ava to walk.

-Sadie had to decorate a potato for a fashion show at school. She made "Chewie" and had a lot of fun.

-The girls had an entire week of school where they got out at noon, so we had some of their good friends come over and make mosaics.

March came and went way too fast, but we had a wonderful month!

Bowling With Daddy!

The kids had the day off of school (again!) and daddy had work off, so we went bowling. We chose to go bowling because we got a "Welcome to Danville" package in the mail. In it was coupons to several different restaurants and stores and the bowling alley. The coupon gave us 12 free games of bowling as well as four free shoe rentals. It only cost us 5$ for us all to bowl two games. (The five dollars was for one shoe rental.)

Sienna has fallen in love with Harry Potter. She is currently on the third book. I am so impressed with her passion for reading. I think we might have to stop after the third book for awhile though. They're starting to get a little scary/intense.

Rip My Heart Out

Remember how I was celebrating about a month ago that the Tanners moved to San Ramon and we got to live by each other for at least six months? Well, Scott is awesome and got rolled out of his program early and so now they're moving pretty much immediately to Houston. Heart broken. I'm losing a good friend and my kids are all losing their special buddies too. Not to mention that I am now missing out on new baby snuggles in April. We will miss you!

My Best Friend's Wedding

I flew out Saturday morning to OKC for Jamie's sealing and dinner. It was a really great day. Jamie and Sam were both sooooo happy. My heart is so full. I have waited for the right guy to come into Jamie's life and Sam is perfect for her. I cannot wait to watch them grow as a couple and family.
