1 Month (tomorrow)

We went to the park this morning for a couple of hours and Abby was able to sport the onesie that Sienna made for her.  I also love that the cute shoes Aunt A gave her stay on her feet.  Isn't she the cutest? She is getting big so fast.  I cannot believe it has already been a month and Matt and I agree that she seems to be our biggest baby at this point.  We haven't weighed her in a couple weeks so we don't know for sure but she seems to be growing so fast.

Hi, wide {blue} eyes.  We are still waiting to see if her eyes are going to stay blue or turn brown.  We don't care either way but would be shocked if we ended up with a blue-eyed baby.  I guess only time will tell.

"Our Best Friend is Coming in Town"

I love that she isn't just my best friend anymore but now she is our best friend.  It was very tempting to drive the wrong way and make her miss her flight.

More Pictures from Great Wolf

It is really hard to get good pictures at an indoor water park with the lighting.  I had such cute pictures of Jamie and the girls going across the lily pads but they didn't turn out.  Jamie was such a huge help and so much fun to have with us.  It made it so nice having the extra entertainment for the kids so I could sit with Abby.

GREAT WOLF LODGE

Jamie came to visit us this past weekend and we wanted to do something extra fun so we decided to go to Great Wolf Lodge.  This place is awesome.  It is an indoor water park/hotel with so many other fun activities to offer.  We just enjoyed the water park but would love to go back sometime to do more.

This was our first day walking in to see the water park.  Do you think Sienna was excited?

Poor kid thought he could swim and jumped in the bottom of one of the water slides.

Cute little Sadie.

Tanner and Jamie

The boys playing basketball.

Our room had a Kids' Cabin in it with bunkbeds where the kiddos got to sleep.  They thought it was so neat to have their special little area with their own TV and beds.

Tanner slept in his own bed and didn't get out once during the night.  I think it was because he was that tired but it gives me hope for moving him to a big boy bed soon.

This hairdo may or may not have been to give Sienna some added height.  The first day, she was millimeters too short to get a special wrist band allowing her on the bigger slides.  Matt and I were so frustrated that they didn't let her on so we decided to take matters into our own hands the next morning.  Matt and Jamie gave Sienna pointers on how to stand super straight and tall and I pulled all of her hair onto the very top of her head.

Guess what?! It worked.  They put the clipboard on Sienna's hair beneath the bun I did and it was just enough to make her the perfect height to get a yellow wristband letting her on the big slides.  After taking her down the tube slides, we don't even know why they have a height requirement.  Tanner and Sadie would have loved going down with us and would have been perfectly safe.  Oh well.

Tanner sitting still and being happy so I could nurse Abby while Jamie played with Sadie and Matt took Sienna down the big slides - Priceless.

First Trip to the Dentist

I have been meaning to take the girls to the dentist for about two years now and we just haven't gotten around to it.  After Sienna lost two teeth this past month, I started feeling even more guilty and like a slacker than I did before and if that wasn't enough motivation to get in, our great insurance this summer was. Three kids, no cavities! I didn't feel quite as bad after seeing they all have great teeth but it is still nice to have it taken care of and out of the way.

The dentist office was super cute and the kids were thrilled that mommy actually let them play with the toys. (Side note- I HATE doctor offices that have books and toys.  It grosses me out and only makes me the bad guy when I won't let the kids play with them.  Dentist offices, completely different... kids aren't coming in with a variety of nasty diseases, infections and viruses.)

After Sadie's doctor visit earlier that same week, she wasn't in love with the idea of going to the dentist and didn't let the hygienists near her.  The dentist himself was super sweet though and had Sadie help him with Sienna's teeth and got her to trust him enough to look at her teeth after.  I am super bummed that we have found a pediatrician and dentist here that we love and have to turn around and move away from them.  Our dentist is a fellow Cougar too, Go BYU!!

We Sure Love Uncle Mike!

Uncle Mike's work brought him to town for the weekend and even though he was only here a couple of days and was pretty busy, we had to see him.  We met him at his hotel in Seattle and went to get some ice-cream and catch up for a little while.  It was great visiting with Mike and made us even more ready to head back home in a few weeks.
