2 Week Check Up

Sienna had her 2 week check up yesterday as well as her second PKU in the hospital. She is a strong little girl and didn't cry when the pricked her foot.
.
Sienna is in the 90-95% in height measuring at 21 3/4 inches. She is only in the 25% for weight coming in at 7 lbs 8 oz. She has been eating really well though and has already gained 13 oz from her birth weight.
.
Sienna has been doing great. She had to say "goodbye" to Grandma Anne. We were a little nervous to see how she would do throughout the night without having grandma to snuggle up to. She slept great and only got up a couple of times. She fell asleep on me this morning for almost 4 straight hours!!! That doesn't mean she doesn't miss grandma though. We all do and can't wait to see her again. We are just happy that she has already made it home safely... and to think we were worried about her driving alone. She didn't even stop for the night. She drove the 20 hours with only a short stop.

Sienna getting ready to model. My mom and I took Sienna to get some pictures taken on Monday. She was such a good girl and loved getting out of the house. Then we went and visited daddy at work.

Not wanting to say "Goodbye"

Grandma Anne and Sienna early in the morning. This is one of Sienna's favorite ways to sleep. She is really going to miss her grandmas.

So cute!

Sienna loves Grandma Andrea. Sienna tries to get as much grandma time before they go home. She doesn't want to see them leave.

Sleepy girl!

Some of my closest friends from TNI sent me this beautiful cookie bouquet.

Grandmas and Cheesecake

Another cute picture of Grandma Anne with Sienna

Sienna is spoiled and gets both grandmas here. We are so excited to have them with us.

To celebrate Matt's mom coming in town we went to The Cheesecake Factory for some delicious food and of course, cheesecake.

This was Sienna's first time out of the house since we have been home from the hospital and she did great.

Rainy Days

Everything is going great here in Texas and we finally seem to be getting settled down. Karin has made great progress in recovering from delivery, and Sienna is healthy and happy. The weather has been crazy here the last couple of days. Lots of thunder and lightning with massive amounts of rain. Anne and I both think it is pretty cool.

Notice the puddles in our yard and the water shooting out of the neighbor's drains. Ridiculous!!

Grandma Anne has been a life saver this past week!!

Sleepy, sleepy!

I'm sure you will easily guess the theme of this post. As you can imagine, we have all been pretty tired around here. Karin is still recovering so I decided to throw a few more pictures up on the blog tonight.

The big day finally came!! Karin usually operates this site, but since she has been a little busy I decided to at least put a few pictures up. Enjoy!!

Karin wants me to remind you that she is very tired - DUH!!

Here's Sienna trying to knock on the camera!

Our little cutie!

That is it for right now. The internet at the hospital is REALLY bad so I will have to post more later.

In the Ghetto

Matt and I had a fun day today. First we went to Fort Worth for some good Mexican food. We were told it looked ghetto but it had the best fajitas and margaritas ever. Sure enough, it was extremely ghetto but their fajitas were awesome. It was some of the best Mexican food we have had.
a
We decided we needed another ghetto experience so we went and tried out Matt's new golf clubs. This is a local driving range that just makes us laugh. By driving range, we mean an open field next to some cows. They also have run-down batting cages.
