“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Park Day

We love going to the park, especially when daddy comes with us. Today was quite the experience though. Everything was wet and muddy and then the girls and I were chased by a dog. Luckily, nothing happened. There was a dog that was really hyper and acting out of control with other dogs trying to walk by with their owners. This dog was alone and we couldn't see an owner anywhere. The girls and I started throwing a frisbee and after a few minutes, this dog started charging right at Sienna. I was calling out for them to come get right near me but out of fear they started running toward Matt at the playground. I quickly grabbed them and got them right by my side. I didn't know what I was going to do and thankfully the dog didn't make me need to do anything crazy. Matt saw us vulnerable in the field and started shouting and trying to distract the dog. Soon the dog ran off towards other dogs and then seemed to mellow out a bit. It was kind of funny, but it scared the girls a bit.

Someone Fell in the Mud

HAPPINESS IS...

Happiness is this cute girl and the fact that the Tanners have moved to San Ramon! Jenna and I have talked about living together since Scott took his job with Chevron. They are here for their last rotation and it will only be six months, but I'll take whatever I can get!

We Love Our Naps

Some of us sleep with our bums in the air, some of us sleep snuggled up, and some of us pass out on the couch after spending hours at the park.

They Just Keep Growing

Sometimes I wish I could freeze time. Ava crawling and Sadie looking so big. Everyday each of the kids is doing something that makes me want to freeze time and keep them as they are forever.
