“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Loving 5

Ava has been such a great addition to our family. Everyone loves her to pieces, but Tanner might love her most. She is such a fun baby and LOVES attention and being held.

Now that everyone is gone, we are finding our routine as a family again. Tanner and Abby love grocery shopping at Coles because they have their own little carts.

The last picture is from Mother's Day at Sadie's school. It was fun having some one on one time with her. She gave me a hand massage and some cute gifts she made.

More from May

I have always been good at keeping up on my blog, but between losing an entire year of pictures, school, and other crazy events of last year, I've gotten way behind. I am also working on a broken computer and can only see about 2/3 of the screen. At least it is working so I can update my pictures, but to get caught up, my posts will be a lot simpler with not as much detail.

Here are some more pictures from May when Dana and Andrea were visiting. We went to the "Ship" park that my kids love. It was right off of the Swan River and had a great view. We also went to King's Park which was one of our favorite places in Perth. It was so beautiful. Then Nana and Dana had to get back on the plane for a long hideous flight home.

The picture of the cinnamon rolls is added because Matt's team would take turns weekly bringing in baked goods. Nobody had ever had real cinnamon rolls and requested them often after Matt brought them in. They're a lot of work, but worth the smiles they bring. Cream cheese icing makes everyone a friend. (Aussies call them scrolls and probably didn't know how to react to so much sweetness in one bite.)

Fremantle Markets

We went to Fremantle to walk around and check out the different shops and markets. The girls were in school, but Tanner and Abby were able to see a Dingo, Koala, and snake with Nana and Dana. Then we did a little tour of the old Fremantle prison. Let's just say, it is about the last place you'd ever want to be a prisoner.

Baptism & Blessing

What an incredible day it was when we were able to baptize Sienna and bless Ava. I am so grateful my parents, Andrea, and Dana were all able to be with us too. It really could not have been a better weekend. Sienna's baptism was Saturday (April 25) and then we blessed Ava in sacrament on Sunday. I am so grateful for the love and support given to Sienna that day, but I am most grateful for this special girl that was sent to bless our families. The Spirit was so strong and my heart was overflowing with joy as she made these covenants with our Heavenly Father. My dad gave a talk about the Holy Ghost and Andrea gave a talk about Baptism. My mom and I said the prayers and Dana lead the music for us. It was the most perfect and special day. I am so grateful for the Gospel and knowledge of eternal families.

Nana & Dana

My parents and Nana & Dana are overlapping a weekend so we can baptize Sienna and bless Ava. They were exhausted when they landed (rightfully so), so we took it easy and then went and explored at the beach. The kids caught a crab with Grandma Anne and Nana and Dana soaked in the gorgeousness that Perth has to offer.
