“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Adam & Tanner

Tanner was thrilled that Adam got to come over and play. They are pretty stinking cute together and had a lot of fun. I have never met anyone that likes popcorn as much as Tanner but Adam is a close second. They ate popcorn, played trains, shot hoops and then Tanner taught Adam how to hula-hoop. Such handsome boys!

Mimi's for Dinner

Matt's parents came to graduation and Adri and Mike watched our kids. Afterwards, we decided to go to Mimi's for dinner. It was a great decision because we got in right away which is a miracle on graduation day. Tanner was so exhausted that he fell asleep at the table and didn't eat a thing. I didn't get a picture (that I was allowed to use) of Matt with his parents. Sad day.

Graduation Day

What a joyous day we had on April 26TH. We had some amazing friends with us along this journey and made many more. We've been so blessed and couldn't be more grateful for this opportunity we had to attend BYU and have Matt graduate with his MBA. We both grew and learned so much these past two years and couldn't be more excited for the adventures awaiting us.  HAPPY GRADUATION!!!

Our Little Smartie

Tanner is constantly amazing all of us with the things he says and comprehends. He speaks so well for a two year old and more specifically for a little boy. His vocabulary is one thing but his comprehension takes it to a whole new level. We get comments all the time about how sharp he is and he never ceases to amaze us or make us laugh.

While pointing at the girls individually he said, "Abby, Sadie, Sienna ...HEY! Where are my brothers?"

"Abby is my bwest friend."

Today when I got home I was putting him to bed and was pretending to sleep in his spot. He said, "Mom, get out of my bed! GET OUT OF MY BED! Mommy, you going to trouble." (We ask him if he wants to go to trouble meaning timeout when he's being naughty.)

Tanner: "I am going outside. I get my shoes and my coat." Me: "Tanner, you don't need a coat." Tanner: "Okay, I'll get a jacket."

Tanner came out of his bed and came upstairs to tattle on Sadie.
"Dad, Sadie said, 'smart bum'. Sadie naughty. Come on. Come talk to her." (With his hand in the air grasping his fist to get Matt to follow him.) How does he know how to tattle already?

Graduation Gifts

We gave Matt his graduation gifts today which included b-ball shorts, a super nice jacket and a new hat. He was super cute and fun with the kids while opening them. He saw that one was wrapped in a corn dog box and just laughed and said funny things which the kids thought was so funny.  He is such a good dad!!  I love Matt's jacket and am so glad he likes it too! It's really nice. I was so excited for him graduating that I bought myself a hoodie too.

Love this picture!!

Sadie was my helper and went shopping with me to get all of daddy's gifts for him. She was so excited for him to start opening them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!

Matt and the kids spoiled me for my birthday with a lot of BYU themed gifts and lots of family time. It was a very relaxing day which was perfect for graduation week. We ended the night at Tucanos. Jac came with us (we both had free b-day meals) and my dad treated Matt. It was a great day!!
