“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

GO OHS!

My friend is coaching the Orem High softball team and asked if I could help her with the outfielders. I was so excited but didn't see how it would work because of my little ones but after talking to Matt we figured things out. It is about 2-3 hours a day depending on whether it is a game day or practice. I am LOVING it and Matt has been so accommodating with my schedule. When our schedules over lap and he cannot make it home in time for me to leave, the kids get to play with grandma which is always fun too. I'm mostly responsible to work out the outfielders during practice and then I am needed at the JV games but I like to go to the varsity games when I can too. This last week I took the kids with me to the varsity game and they were so good for me. Matt came and picked them up before I was needed to actively coach.

New Toy

Uncle Jake fixed up a new toy and left it at our parents' house for the girls to use. They love it and Matt and I just sit and laugh watching them because they're animals.

Aren't they so cute?

Sadie's turn to drive.

Sunshine

Sienna's new bike for her birthday. She loves it and zooms up and down the street like crazy.

Tanner playing with the neighbor's dog.

Tanner's gift to Sienna for her birthday was a tee set. (Sadie got her a cupcake maker that we've already tried too which Sienna also loved).

Sienna's Mario Birthday

We had Sienna's birthday party (for the Liechty side) today and as she went to bed she said, "Mom, I had a great party!" My little sweetheart will be five on Wednesday and amazes me every day with how loving and sweet she is. Today was no exception. She shared her toys and balloons all while saying the nicest things to her cousins and friends. We alternate every year with a friend party and then a family party the next year. This year was a family party (Poyfairs and Jamie are family, just for the record!).
Sienna wanted a Mario themed party with french toast. Uncle Jake made some wickedly awesome french toast and Grandpa Doug made some bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. The kids played "pin the nose and mustache on Mario" (thank you Jamie, best psuedo aunt ever!!) which will be laminated and has already been claimed for future parties this year. We ended with a star pinata and then rice-krispie treat cake, brownies, ice-cream and presents. Sienna was right, she had a great party!! (Sad I don't have pictures of all the cousins or Kyla & Kash- camera started acting up and I still cannot find mine.)

Busy Boy!

This kid is getting into things non stop. We have spent a lot of time outside this past week to enjoy the beautiful weather. I wasn't able to get any pictures of the girls because my camera died shortly after capturing our little monkey climbing into a planter on my mom's shop porch. I am dreading the day that I have to run Tanman to the ER. Climbing on things isn't enough for him. After he climbs onto something, he then lets go of support and dances around. I am often surprised at what he can balance on and how fast he can get up on things. I cannot let my eyes off of him for two seconds.

TANNER

Tanner going to get Sienna.

He stands up on everything and is now able to get on most tables, chairs and couches.

I gave Tanner a bowl of snacks while I was in the kitchen and he ran around the table and climbed into Shelby's dog bed to eat and relax. He spent several minutes in there goofing around and acting like a puppy.

He runs more than he walks these days and he has gotten pretty fast.

Exhausted after a long day of running around and getting into things. I believe it was Sadie that put the puppy on his tummy to rest with him.

Going Forward

We moved Tanner to his forward facing car seat and he is loving it. I think he'll miss goofing around with the girls in the back but so far he enjoys it and dances around and chats at mommy and daddy in the front.
