So Tired

Sienna ate her heart out tonight while we played games with some friends and the missionaries.

Her Fishy Costume

I put Sienna in the jumperoo while I showered and this is what I found when I got out. I was surprised that she wasn't fussing by the time I got out - but I guess she was too tired.

Happy Halloween!

I love the fall. Even though we don't really have the beautiful leaves we have cooler weather and that is wonderful. Matt, Sienna, and I had a great night today. We carved pumpkins and gave Sienna a nice long bath. It has been great just spending time with each other.
.

Sienna loved the pumpkins. She kept rolling them over and climbing on top of them.

Oh, and tried to eat them.

Eating the insides didn't go over so well.

We decided to let her upgrade to a banana.

Our Family

Cheerios, Apples, and a Pink Hippopotamus

There are a few things that Sienna absolutely loves. She is obsessed with cheerios, and I recently found that she loves to chew on slices of apple. Yesterday, she ate half of a slice, skin and all. I know I am crazy, but apples are good for her and she didn't choke.

It was so fun seeing Alyssa and Jessie again. The girls haven't really played in awhile but they did so well together. It is fun because they interact now and Sienna likes to follow Jessie around.

Sienna's new favorite things is this Hippopotamus. I won it at Red Robin in one of those arcade games with the claw. Matt mocked me and said I was going to waste our money but I won it on the first try. It was the best 50 cents I have spent in a long time. Sienna loves this thing and cracks up every time she sees it. She really laughed for 20 minutes non-stop at the restaurant. My favorite is when she gives it hugs and chews on its ear. We'll have to get a picture of that soon.

Our Little Climber

I have my family back and it is wonderful. Sienna is such a funny girl and she makes me laugh daily. We had a Halloween "Party" more of a small get together last night with some friends. I made my mom's delicious Chicken, Broccoli, & Cheese soup and her amazing pumpkin struessel cobbler. The food was outstanding and it was a lot of fun seeing our friends, as usual.
.
(I have pictures of Sienna with Matt's family, but they are downloading really small...I'll add them as soon as I can figure things out.)
.
This is one of the reasons I want a new camera. This picture and the next are of Sienna while she was with her cousins in Utah. Look at how great the pictures came out!! This is one of my all time favorite pictures of her.

Sienna, Cole, and Max. What cute kids we have.

Our little climber...

Oops, she was successful at getting a chocolate.

Climbing up the wall...

Climbing on her toys...

Back to the coffee table... and yes that is a tattoo on her leg.

We were in a BIG hurry to get to church this morning and Sienna was very tired, but I love this dress and jacket.

Haunted House

Many of you didn't believe me when I said that my family is out of control when it comes to Halloween- maybe now you will. This is their yard and it doesn't even have the spook alley set up on the sidewalk that leads up to the door. Holidays with my family are the best. Halloween is so fun and there is a lot of family time setting everything up, my mom makes the most delicious homemade soups for literally anyone that wants some, and we scare the pants off of all the neighborhood kids. Thanksgiving is the best meal of the year. My dad makes the best homemade stuffing known to man, and of course Christmas is just wonderful. I love the fall and I am so sad that I won't be with my family for all of it. To make up for missing all the great Halloween yummies and fun, I am having a little party on Saturday for a few friends. I am going to attempt my mom's chicken-cheese-broccoli, soup and pumpkin dessert for a few friends.
.
Sienna and Grandpa. Luckily, grandpa wasn't dressed up today. He gets pretty scary and carries a chainsaw.

Enter if you dare...

The spooky cemetery.

The right side of the yard is the more kid friendly side. I wish they had the spook alley up so you could see it. They have black lights, fog machines, and strobe lights going as well as scary music with screaming, etc. It is the house to hit in our town.

This may be a random picture, but I love my nephew. He is obsessed with cars and although he is in a junky Volvo, he can point out a GT, Mach 1, Mustang, Shelby, V-max, etc and he knows the difference. I LOVE YOU COLE!! See you soon.

Okay, I stole this picture from my sister-in-laws blog but I had to post it too. My nephews are SO cute. Cole is almost 3 and Max is 5 months. One of my best friends and I have had the hardest times finding cute little boy costumes this year for her kids but Reni, you did it! That is the first Nemo costume I have seen that looks good (and it looks great!) and Buzz is awesome.

Safe Arrival

Matt and Sienna arrived safely in Utah. Things have been a lot smoother than I expected them to be. It helps that Sienna is in such good hands with our parents. It is also so fun to hear how happy everyone is that they get to see Sienna. I miss them very much and can't wait to have them home, but I am glad they got to go.
.

Sienna loves her dad. She definitely takes preference for him for fun and me for comfort right now. I don't mind because I still have a blast with her and it is the neatest thing to see them together.
.
I got a shot of her cute sweater! Getting ready to get on the plane with daddy.
.

Hanging out in another sweater. Trying to get her used to the cooler weather and wearing more layers. Actually, it was just really cute and it was fun watching her crawl around in it.

Practicing getting used to the phone because she will be calling me lots!

The crib isn't good enough anymore, now she prefers to eat our coffee table.

One of our big improvements is that Sienna can hold her own bottle now!

Sienna's favorite place to hang out.

Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

This week should be fun for everyone (but me). Matt is going to Utah to interview students at BYU and I am letting him take Sienna so she can stay with grandma and grandpa. Sienna has changed so much and it will be fun to play with her cousins, aunties, and uncles too. She'll be staying with Matt's family but will visit mine as well.

Even though I disagree with everyone about this being a nice vacation/break for me, I'll be able to get a lot done. I guarantee that I still wake up at night to check on Sienna and it will be very hard being away from her, but I want her to spend time with our families. Plus, this is a chance to deep clean my kitchen and bathrooms without worrying about Sienna getting into bleach.

This is one of my favorite outfits Sienna has right now. It is a cute sweatsuit from Gap. I didn't get the best picture of her in it because she was into everything and didn't want to sit still.

Beautiful baby in brown.

Sienna was so fun at church today.

She has 8 teeth and has started eating her crib. I knew it would happen eventually, but I didn't count on teeth marks at 7 months. Can you believe that she is 7 months old today??

Her Halloween costume came this week. It is cute, but not as cute as it was online. Oh well, by the time I actually bought it, everything else was sold out. Plus, this was much cheaper. Sienna doesn't know what to think about it either.

Like Matt said, "If anyone can make a fish costume look cute, it is Sienna!" I like it. It is a little different, but I like it. I can't stop laughing when she is crawling around in it.
