T's Thanksgiving Party

These are the cutest turkeys I have ever seen. They had a video of all the things they were grateful for, sang us a handful of songs, and then ate pie together. I love my little Tanner Turkey!

Way Too Many Hours at the Dentist

The family went to the dentist together and it was a huge mistake. It took hours for all of us to get our cleanings. It took so long that Tanner left early to go to a birthday party. Then Matt went and picked him up from that bday party and took him to another. Thank heavens for good and easy going kids. They made four plus hours at the dentist office seem like a normal everyday routine. It was still torture for me though. What a waste of a day. Oh well, we all got our cleanings done. Everyone managed to escape without cavities except poor Tanner. He had SIX! His teeth are so tight and close together and all of his cavities were in between his back molars. This meant that we got to go back to the dentist two more days in a row to get them filled. I was nervous but Tanner really put on a brave face and just pounded them out. His face was swollen and sore (because he bit his cheeks pretty bad) for a couple days, but he was such a big boy! His cheeks were swollen when he went back to school, but that didn't stop him from still being the most handsome boy around.

T's Last Soccer Game

Tanner's last game of the season was a good one. He loves soccer and plays his guts out. He also had a team full of his besties from both church and school which made it extra fun.

Preschool Drop Off

Taking Abby to school has become such a fun little routine for me and Ava. Abby only goes to school twice a week, but we get to choose which two days. Abby is at a local high school for preschool and loves it. Ava and I walk her through the campus (the high schools here are HUGE) and drop her off. Ava starts to play with all of the kids and when it is time to go, she runs and gives Abby a hug and kiss goodbye. These two are both such hams and love attention. Especially Abby. She dances and sings for the high school students and loves being silly. These girls are too much fun. I love watching them grow up even though it is also killing me a little bit watching them get so big.

Independent Ava

Some random fun pictures of Ava from November. This girl is getting more fun and more independent everyday. She loves doing things herself and loves being a big girl like her siblings. She is also still the biggest mama's girl ever though and as some might say, "she owns me." It's true. It's hard to tell her no and I often give in to pretty much everything she wants, like eating oatmeal by herself on the go.

Following pictures from this week: eating an apple practically the size of her head, snuggling and trying to sleep in Abby's bed, crashing while on our bike ride and finishing her nap on the library couch, and eating oatmeal as she wanders around the house.

I love everything about this toe-headed, mullet sporting, independent little girl.

Spring in November

Our seasons are a little backwards here and everything is now turning green. I love it. I also love getting out and hiking or walking any chance I get.
