“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

SLEEPOVER!

Both Matt and my parents are coming out here for a quick couple of days for Sadie's baptism. My parents are staying with us so that means the kids all get to have a sleepover in Tanner and Abby's room. We blew up our air mattress and they thought it was the coolest thing. Then Sadie made everyone hashbrowns with extra pepper just the way her and grandpa love them.

Uncle Kyle!

Uncle Kyle came out our way for work and the kids had a riot goofing around with him. It was too quick and we wish he could have stayed for Sadie's baptism, but it's always a great time when Kyle is around!

More Pepper!

Sadie has learned how to make hashbrowns and it is one of her favorite things to do in the mornings now. Grandpa Doug would be proud because she always makes sure to add lots of pepper. I love watching the kids grow and learn new things.

Little Stink

Lately Ava's picked up the name "little stink" from me. Short for stinker I guess. She is hilarious and so busy. She also has a major sweet tooth and loves her treats. No fail every time we open the fridge she gets super excited and rushes in to pull out a yogurt. Good luck taking it away or putting it back too... not happening. She also knows that when there is a 9x13 pan out on the counter there is something yummy and typically chocolate in it. She will squawk for lack of better word as she passes it and won't let it drop until you give in. Our little stink! We love her.

Trying a New Park

We decided to see what all the hype was about this new park. The kids loved it. The zipline won everyone over. It was fun spending time with our friend Wendi too!

Exercising With Mama

The kids are helping keep me accountable this summer. We are trying to be active and spend as much time outside as possible. We spent very little time on the TV and try to be out playing, walking, or hiking more. I love my little crew. They are simply the best! I've said it before but I could get used to them home all day everyday. I am not ready for school to resume in a couple weeks. I am going to miss my people and our freedom of time!

Time for Shots

It's shots time for our blondie-blondes. Taking five kids to the doctor is a less than fun adventure, especially when so many shots are involved. These two had all of us including our doctor cracking up though. Also, Abby is most definitely our toughest child. She stared down FOUR shots without making a peep. It was unreal.
