Bodrie's Blessing Day

I lucked out and was able to see my dear friend Jac who has been like a sister to me since birth. She happened to be in Utah to bless her new handsome little guy Bodrie. I sneaked away from a family dinner to steal some baby snuggles and catch up with Jac-Jac.

Shumways Take Farmington Pool

This is what Heaven feels like. We spent a good portion of our day at a local pool together as a family with all of the cousins on Matt's side of the family. We had way too much fun being tricksy on the diving boards and playing with our cousins. It was pretty perfect!

 

Headed to Celebrate the Fourth in Utah!

We are ready for a real 4TH of July celebration! There was not way after being back in America we were going to miss celebrating the 4TH in Utah with our families. California is lame for the 4TH and we have missed out the past two years all together living out of the country. So, we hit the road. We typically drive the 11-12 hours straight in one day, but this time we decided to leave a day earlier and took off after Matt got off work on Thursday. We split the drive and did half Thursday night and the rest Friday. Our kids do great, even enjoy road trips. Yay for us! I love my not so little crew and Matt and I are so excited to have this time with both our kids and our families.

When we arrived to Nana and Papa's house, we got to play in the backyard with Adam, Leah, and Hope. Later that night we headed over to Crew and Emery's house. Cousin time is the best!
