“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

Tanner Loves Beans

Tanner loves beans of any kind. They are his favorite foods. Green beans, black beans, refried, etc. It is something that he will always eat and never turn away.

Tanner enjoying some delicious black beans from Cafe Rio.

Laughing at mommy when I was trying to tell him how messy he was.

This boy loves making messes but he also loves to clean. He is obsessed with vacuums and follows them around carrying the cord anytime someone is cleaning. He loves my parents' new shark vacuum because he figured out how to do it all by himself.

Valentine's Day!!

We had a great Valentine's Day! The girls spent weeks coloring and cutting out hearts for Matt and Tuesday morning we taped them all over our room while he was at school. They had written their favorite things and memories about their daddy on the hearts and had fun showing him his surprise when he got home. We also spread treats everywhere for him too. When Sienna got home from school we baked yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting and made Valentine cards for Grandpa Dug. (Grandma was in Washington with Brit.) Daddy came home from school with roses for me and the girls and that night Jamie came over to bake sugar cookies with the kids so Matt and I could go to Red Lobster for dinner.

Swim Lessons

The girls took two sessions of swim lessons and both did so well. We would go to lessons every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for almost two months. The girls were not in the same class because we started Sienna a class up from Sienna since she had taken lessons once before in Texas but when we sign up again we'll put them together.

The girls playing before their lessons.

I had fun taking them to lessons because it reminded me of when I was young and would take lessons at the same pool and come outside to find snow.

Sure enough, a couple times after lessons we had some standing snow so we decided to celebrate with official snow cones.

It's a GIRL!!

20 weeks and It's a GIRL!! I have been right with all four kids now. I kept saying boy and we had a boy's name that we really liked but a few days before our ultrasound, I could only picture myself holding a little girl and felt pretty strongly I was getting another princess. We are all very excited and cannot wait to meet her. Now we just need to find the perfect name.

Enjoying a few moments of sunshine.

Family of Cougars

Our family date night heading to a BYU basketball game.

The girls got to meet and dance with Cosmo. They also went up on the jumbo screen but we didn't see it in time to show them.

Boys just don't come any more handsome.

Secret Hideout

When I was a little girl I would play in a little loft in our upstairs with my little brother and friends. We called it our G.I. Joe room. The girls call it their "Secret Hideout" and they love it. There are some days where they spend hours up there pretending all sorts of different games. They have filled the room with all sorts of random trinkets and toys. They also use this room for crafting secrets and surprises (like Daddy's Valentines).

Sienna on an important call.

I spy with my little eye a Sadie-Pie hiding under some random animal fur.

The kids in their hideout. They're just the cutest and I can't get enough.

T = Trouble

Oh goodness, our little man is busy. He keeps us going non-stop and is always getting into something else. It doesn't help that he has grandma and grandpa's huge house full of naughty things to get into.

Don't let that cute smile fool you - he's planning something. At least he is a cute naughty boy.

"What mom? Am I not allowed up here?!"

"What if I touch the TV or even better, bang it with a remote?" This is Tanner's favorite no-no in the house and he spends many minutes in time out a day now.

If he isn't climbing on the CDs and DVDs, he tries to empty the drawers.

He also loves to get into the kitchen cupboards. The girls never got into cupboards but Tanner has them all figured out and his favorites are all the dangerous ones.
