Our first port was Auckland. It was beautiful, but not very sunny. We decided to wing it in Auckland since we had other excursions planned later on the trip. It ended up being a lot of fun and easy-going. We took a little ferry to Devonport where the kids played at a park, found seashells, and climbed trees. Then we stopped by a cafe and finished our visit at a chocolate shop and bought a handful of scrumptious treats. The cafe was really yummy too. The kids and I all split a huge burger with fries and Matt ordered a mushroom pot pie type of thing, both were delicious.
