The girls are officially and finally on their summer break. Last Thursday was their last day and we are all loving having them home. The girls are super helpful with Tanner and Abby, and we all love taking it easy. We've decided this summer is going to be an active and outdoorsy summer with minimal TV watching. Our favorite thing to do is try out new parks and play tag as a family. It is a good workout and reminds me daily how out of shape I am. We play tag at least a few times a week with daddy and it's one of our favorite family activities right now. The other day I had to go visit teach down by our church building so we decided to take some pictures while we were out. It is amazing how quick everything turned lush and green as soon as the cooler weather disappeared. This is a beautiful city and we're all allergic to it. My kids are all currently covered in hives and I cannot figure out if it is from the bug spray or all of the plants blooming. Sienna is also allergic to something at church. Every week she is great until we show up to sacrament meeting and then she sneezes for three hours until we go home. I think the poor girl is reacting to someone's perfume. Anyway, the other day we took pictures with downtown in the background and then went to two different parks. Abby slept through the first park so the two of us hung out in the car while the other three monkeys climbed around. When she woke up we went to a new park. Just when we think we've seen all of the new toys, something else shows up to entertain and surprise us. The parks around here are so neat and unique. They have the coolest toys that spin, bounce, and well, whatever this blue-ish purple thing does. It is like a fancy teeter-totter slash monkey bar?? Whatever it is, the kids thought it was a riot.
